Most electrical contractors wire the inside of buildings. We wire streets, highways and bridges. Our jobs are extremely challenging but very rewarding. We must work outside every day and we have various approaches to perform our work. We make our roads and streets safer by lighting the way. It takes a special person to perform this work and make an impact for the traveling public.
Laborer
1 open positions
- Performs the installation of electrical materials such as conduit, junction boxes, wire, etc.
- Installs materials on project by digging, lifting and placing.
- Installs concrete material that is pre-cast or poured in place.
- Operates small power tools and hand tools
- Loading and unloading of materials from trucks.
Must have valid NC Drivers License, available to work flexible hours and ability to travel within 4 hours from office.
Equipment Operator

- Performs the installation wood poles, metal poles and concrete foundations
- Operates equipment such bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, etc.
- Knows functions and capabilities of authorized equipment Inspects equipment for damage and wear
- Responsible for safe operation of equipment at all times
- Operates small power tools and hand tools
- Installs all materials on project with assistance of laborers
Must have valid NC Drivers License (CDL Class A preferred), available to work flexible hours and ability to travel within 4 hours from office.
Truck Operator

- Performs the installation of electrical materials such as conduit, junction boxes, wire, etc.
- Operates equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
- Knows functions and capabilities of authorized equipment Inspects equipment for damage and wear
- Responsible for safe operation of equipment at all times
- Operates small power tools and hand tools
- Installs all materials on project with assistance of laborers
Must have valid NC Commercial Drivers License (Class A), available to work flexible hours and ability to travel within 4 hours from office.
Foreman

- Performs the installation of electrical materials such as conduit, junction boxes, wire, etc.
- Performs the installation wood poles, metal poles and concrete foundations
- Operates equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, etc.
- Knows functions and capabilities of authorized equipment Inspects equipment for damage and wear
- Responsible for safe operation of equipment at all times
- Operates small power tools and hand tools
- Installs all materials on project with assistance of laborers
- Familiarity of project specifications and can train laborers in those specs
- IMSA Signal Tech 2 Certification preferred (not required)
- Assists in management of crew
- Completes daily assigned tasks
